Description

A combat weapon available in a number of variants like the AK-47, AKS-47, AKM and AKMS. These weapons have a wooden stock, grip and barrel surround except the AKMS/AKS-47 which have a folding metal stock.

Construction

All models AK-47, AKM are made from alloy, wooden stock and grips with the models AKMS and AKS-47 with folding/pull-out metal stocks.

An AKS-47 features a downward-folding metal stock similar to that of the German MP40, for use in the restricted space in the BMP infantry combat vehicle, as well as by paratroops, and an AKMS features a folding-stock version of the AKM intended for airborne troops, stock may be either side or under-folding.
