Plot

Alien was a 1982 video game published by Fox Video Games for the Atari 2600. The game was based on the 1979 film of the same name.

Ever since you left that last planet, you've been bothered by eerie sounds coming from somewhere in the hull of the Nostromo, your giant transport cruiser. After setting the ship's controls on autopilot, you descend to have a look. Yow! Every hallway in the entire maze-like hull has been lined with grotesque eggs of some gruesome space creature. Quickly you sprint down the corridor crushing the eggs as you go. Then you see it! A hideous being with jaws like a beartrap. You run away from this beast, not wishing to end up as an intergalactic snack. You turn a corner and there unbelievingly. Another Alien is just ahead. Don't bother calling for help. Remember, in space no one can hear you scream.

This is a different game from the 1984 Alien developed by Amsoft, Concept Software Ltd., and Argus Press Software Ltd.

Gameplay

Playing as a marine/human you must destroy all Alien eggs whilst avoiding 3 Aliens in a maze-like hull of the Nostromo. A player is equipped with a gun to kill the Aliens, once a player collects all the eggs, they would be transported to a bonus round, where the player must find an extra point power-up while avoiding the aliens. Once completed a player would be transported back to the maze of corridors.

4 levels of game play consisting of 2 in the form of Pac-man and 2 in the form of Frogger both cartridge games from the 80's.
