Ripley after being rescued is demoted as her account of events are met with skepticism. As contact with the colonists is lost the company sends in a team of colonial marines to investigate and request Ripley to accompany them. Reaching LV426 in the Sulaco they descend and find the colony deserted, after reaching operations they locate the survivors by their PDAs located in the Atmosphere Processor buildings. They equip themselves and track towards them but find them dead or dying. As aliens emerge the team is reduced, leaving them no choice but to escape.
